to raise funds. Our events mix pleasure with purpose.
They are always a lot of fun, yet they are planned keeping
in mind that the goal is to raise money, not spend it. If
you haven’t joined us for one ... well, why not? We look

education and prevention services are still crucial. APM
relies on individual and community support to continue
our much needed prevention and direct client services.

AIDS WALK 2011
The annual AIDS Walk Michigan to raise funds to fight HIV/
AIDS was a success. Held on Saturday, September 24, this
year the event was held at Palmer Park.
The fresh wooded surroundings gave the walkers a shot of
energy and a sense of purpose. And we thought all were
looking dashing in their yellow AIDS Walk tees. Volunteers
handed out bottled water and cheered them on. Friend-
ships were made and renewed along the way, and at the
end everybody enjoyed pizza and live entertainment, all in
beautiful Palmer Park and all in pursuit of a great cause.
